As a service to the community, we make the code and datasets from this study available to the public. Interested researchers can download them here.

his archive contains the list of sites and URLs we crawled, the CRN widgets we encountered on each page, widget headlines and disclosures, and the recommendations and ads in each widget. The archive also contains all of the landing pages linked to by the ads, which formed the basis of our LDA analysis of advertised content.
